A collective of artists and creative professionals, HUE Design Group seeks to bring more design to open, public places. Bringing public art and design together, will create immersive experiences with compelling narratives.
In 2024, our aim is to develop prototypes of benches, chairs, and accent pieces. We will fabricate compelling sculptures and architectural details. Our studio is located on Governors Island in the historic district of Nolan Park, Building 10B.
Inspired by the success of the public art exhibition, Harlem Sculpture Gardens, designs will use sustainable materials to support the needs of the community in addressing climate change. Members of the collective are Savona Bailey-McClain, Juan Luis Sanchez, Atu Ram, Jaleeca Yancy and Ayala Naftali.
